⚠ CORS / Network error — how to fix

Browsers block direct API calls when the HTML file is opened from file://. You need to serve it from a local web server, or ensure your Supabase project allows the origin.

Option 1 — Local web server (easiest)

        # Python (any folder)

        python3 -m http.server 8080

        # Node.js

        npx serve .

        Then open: http://localhost:8080/queue_dashboard.html

Option 2 — Supabase CORS settings

1. Go to Supabase Dashboard → Settings → API
2. Under CORS Allowed Origins, add:
http://localhost:8080 (for local server)
* (wildcard — dev only, not for prod)
3. Save and reconnect

Self-hosted Supabase: add to ADDITIONAL_REDIRECT_URLS in .env

Self-hosted Supabase URL format: http://<your-server-ip>:8000 or your configured domain — make sure Kong (API gateway) is reachable from the browser.
